What is GEENOR?

The purpose of this GEENOR initiative is to help and to catalyze development of genetic engineering technologies and to spread knowledge about genetics in order to further inspire development of genetic engineering and genetics. We deeply believe, that overall influence of genetic engineering on development of the human race is positive. We, as mankind, need genetic engineering: to fight diseases, to protect us from viruses and bacteria, simply to survive!

Answer on the question "what is GEENOR?" is twofold. Firstly it is a privately owned web site established to foster genetic engineering. Secondly it is a loose association of people interested in genetic engineering.
